Vitamin reserves should be built up during the off-season. Autumn and spring are the perfect time to boost immunity and develop new healthy habits. Green juices and smoothies for health and energy are one of them. Perfect for those who enjoy maintaining good habits even in winter.

AVOCADO + PEAR

  • ½ avocado
  • 100 ml natural yogurt
  • 100 ml pear juice (preferably fresh)
  • 1 tbsp. honey
  • natural vanilla extract

Blend all ingredients until smooth.

VEGETABLE JUICE
A mix of accessible carrots and unsweetened apples (which can be considered vegetables) with fat-burning and metabolism-boosting celery and ginger makes for a great start to the day.

  • 2 apples
  • 3 medium carrots
  • 3 celery stalks
  • 3 cm piece of ginger root

Juice all ingredients using a juicer

GREEN JUICE
All the goodness of greens in a concentrated form, plus the vitamin boost from fennel, the sweetness of apples, and the freshness of cucumbers — an energizing way to start your morning.

  • 1 bunch spinach
  • 1 bunch Swiss chard
  • 1 fennel bulb
  • 2 cucumbers
  • 2 green apples

Chop all ingredients and juice them in a juicer

MINT CHOCOLATE SMOOTHIE

  • ½ bunch mint
  • 100 ml nut, soy, or rice milk
  • 2 handfuls spinach
  • 1 banana
  • 50 g dark chocolate (at least 60% cocoa) or chocolate chips
  • 1 tsp. flax or chia seeds

Blend all ingredients except chocolate until smooth. If using a chocolate bar, freeze slightly and break into small pieces. Mix half into the smoothie and sprinkle the rest on top before serving.

NUTRIENT-RICH GREEN SMOOTHIE
A bunch of greens helps meet your daily fiber needs. We often forget about fiber-rich foods, but fresh greens help reduce fat absorption, lower cholesterol levels, and cleanse the body.

  • 1 small avocado
  • 1 banana
  • 1 orange
  • juice of ½ lime or lemon
  • 1 bunch spinach (or replace with a bunch of parsley or mint)
  • 150 ml water

Peel the avocado, banana, and orange, cut into cubes, and place in a blender. Add lemon juice and greens. Blend, adding water until desired consistency is reached.

FRESH JUICE
Light, fresh, and nutritious — exactly what a healthy vitamin-packed breakfast should be. Green juices are one of the best choices. Choose greens to taste — mint can be substituted with cilantro, parsley, green basil, or fennel greens.

  • 1 lime
  • 1 bunch mint
  • 3 celery stalks
  • 1 cucumber
  • 4 kiwis

Juice all ingredients using a juicer.

ENERGY BOOST
This juice kickstarts metabolism, removes toxins and heavy metal salts from the body. Try starting your mornings with fresh juice — after just 3–4 times, your body will get used to a light and refreshing breakfast that promotes health and energy.

  • 2 grapefruits
  • 2 green apples
  • 4 celery stalks
  • ½ beetroot
  • 1 cucumber
  • 4 cm piece of ginger root

Juice all ingredients using a juicer.

FRESH LEMON SMOOTHIE WITH SPIRULINA

  • 1 cup coconut milk (store-bought is fine)
  • juice of ½ large lemon
  • 1 thin slice of lemon with zest
  • 1 banana
  • ½ tsp. spirulina
  • 1 tbsp. honey

Blend all ingredients thoroughly in a blender. Optionally, add a little more fresh lemon zest.

SPINACH-MANGO SMOOTHIE

  • 1 mango
  • 2 handfuls of spinach, kale, or Swiss chard
  • juice of ½ lime
  • 1 kiwi
  • 1 cup cold coconut milk

Blend all ingredients until smooth.

GREEN MELON + TEA SMOOTHIE

  • 1 cucumber
  • 2 handfuls spinach
  • 2 cups chopped pineapple or melon (seasonal)
  • 1 cup brewed green tea
  • juice of ½ lemon
  • 3 cm piece of ginger root

Blend all ingredients until smooth. Depending on the season, swap pineapple for melon, green apple, or pear, and add fresh basil or parsley.
