I have tried dozens of my own salads and explored others. I love my (pardon me) dressing with garlic, cumin, and chili. But let’s see what else is out there..

Ingredients
  • 1 cup cooked quinoa
  • fresh cilantro
  • fresh parsley
  • fresh dill
  • 1 cucumber
  • 1 tomato
  • fried onion (I used crispy Thai deep-fried onion, which can be found in stores, but well-browned sautéed onion will also work)
  • Cayenne pepper powder
  • sesame or sunflower aromatic oil

Cook quinoa according to the instructions on the package in salted boiling water. Let it cool slightly. Meanwhile, dice the tomato, pepper, and cucumber into uniform cubes. Finely chop the fresh herbs. Mix the quinoa with the vegetables and herbs. Add the crispy or sautéed onion. Season the salad with salt, cayenne pepper, and sesame oil.
