What could be simpler and more delicious than baked potatoes? But even this beloved side dish can be made even more flavorful and appetizing! By adding creamy butter, fragrant garlic, and thyme, we create a true culinary masterpiece.

Ingredients
    • 4 large potatoes
    • 50 g of butter
    • 3-4 cloves of garlic
    • 1 teaspoon dry or 2-3 sprigs of fresh thyme
    • Salt and black pepper — to your taste
    • Foil for baking

    First, wash the potatoes thoroughly, but do not peel them—we will bake them with the skin on. In a mortar or bowl, mash the butter with minced garlic, then add thyme, salt, and pepper.

    Make several cuts in each potato, but not all the way through, so they remain whole. Rub them with the aromatic butter mixture, paying special attention to the cuts.

    Wrap each potato in foil and place them on a baking tray. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (392°F) for about 40-50 minutes, until the potatoes are tender inside and golden brown on the outside.

    Carefully unwrap the foil, place the potatoes on a plate, and serve hot. They taste great as a standalone dish or as a side to meat or fish.
