I'll share some of my favorite pancake fillings, and if you know an incredible combo - drop it in the comments!

Ingredients

The pancake recipe itself is very simple:

  • 3 eggs
  • 0.5 l of milk (preferably homemade or fat: 3.2 -3.5%)
  • 1 cup of bitter flour
  • 1 tsp sea salt
  • 1 tbsp. sugar or honey
  • 1 tbsp. sunflower (or olive odorless) oil
  • vanillin or vanilla pod seeds - to your taste

And then the fillings of your choice:

  • red caviar
  • lightly salted salmon
  • prunes with walnuts
  • cheese with pickled cucumbers and herbs
  • strawberry jam and fresh mint leaves
  • cheese with figs
  • olive tapenade with herbs
  • with condensed milk and ground cardamom
  • with herring, boiled egg and dill
  • pumpkin with garlic
  • with liver and mushrooms
  • with cheese, grated apple and cinnamon
  • with honey and almonds
  • minced lamb with rosemary
  • roasted duck or turkey meat with paprika and cumin
