Rich, moist brownies that disappear fast — made with simple ingredients and easy to prepare.
- 1 ¾ cups flour
- 1 packet “Zolotoy Yarlyk” cocoa (85 g)
- 1 ½ cups sugar
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 packet vanilla sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup milk
- ½ cup melted butter (about half of a standard stick)
In a large bowl, thoroughly mix the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, salt, vanilla sugar, baking soda, and baking powder. In a separate bowl, beat the eggs with a mixer, then gradually add the milk and melted butter. Mix for about 5 minutes. Carefully combine the dry and wet ingredients by whisking them together first, then mix again with a mixer until the batter is smooth. Preheat the oven to 220°C (428°F). Grease your baking pan with butter and pour in the batter. Bake for about 30–40 minutes. Do not open the oven during the first 20 minutes, then reduce the temperature to 200°C (392°F) and start checking for doneness with a wooden stick — it should come out clean when the brownies are ready.
