Very easy to prepare, healthy and charged for a good breakfast day. We apply in any season: in winter and spring with frozen berries or first strawberries, in summer - with a full variety of red and black berries, in autumn - with spices and all varieties of apples and nuts.
Oatmeal with apple and cinnamon
- 1/2 cup dry whole grain oatmeal
- 2 tbsp. crushed flax seeds
- 1 apple
- a handful of walnuts
- a pinch of salt
- cinnamon
Bring salted water to a boil in a ratio of 1:2 (oatmeal to water). Add the oatmeal and cook for 5–7 minutes. While it’s boiling, stir in flaxseeds, the chopped apple, a handful of walnuts, and a cinnamon stick or a pinch of ground cinnamon. Once the oatmeal is ready, top it with your favorite natural sweeteners: figs, dates, or a drizzle of maple syrup.In just 10 minutes, your wholesome breakfast is ready!
Coconut Oatmeal
- 1/2 cup whole wheat oatmeal
- 2 tbsp. ground flax seeds
- 75 ml of coconut milk
- fresh or frozen berries
- cocoa powder or cocoa nibs for topping
In a mixture of coconut milk and water (adjust proportions as needed), cook the oatmeal with flaxseeds, adding a pinch of salt. Once cooked, transfer the porridge to a bowl and top with fresh or frozen berries. Sprinkle with cocoa nibs for an added crunch. If cocoa nibs aren’t available, substitute with black sesame seeds, almonds, or pine nuts. Enjoy!
