As I mentioned before, the most important part of making pizza is getting the dough right. Once you've figured that out, the rest is up to your imagination. Here are just a few simple ideas to get you started:
Margherita
One of the simplest and tastiest pizzas. Spread the dough with tomato sauce, top with some mozzarella, and bake until the crust is golden. This is the ultimate classic. Sprinkle fresh basil leaves on top once it’s out of the oven.
Marinara
Spread tomato sauce over the dough, add sliced garlic and anchovies. No cheese at all. Once baked, top with fresh oregano, basil, marjoram, arugula, or thyme.
Dessert Pizza
Top the dough with gorgonzola cheese and sliced pears. A super simple, elegant, and delicious pizza.
Chicken with Chili
Spread tomato sauce on the base, add pieces of chicken (boiled, roasted, or smoked), pickled chili peppers, and a bit of mozzarella. Bake until golden and bubbling.
Quattro Formaggi (Four Cheeses)
Choose the cheeses you love, but don’t skip Grana Padano, a blue cheese, and something creamy like Philadelphia or ricotta.
