Baked apples with cinnamon are delicious, but they’ve gotten a bit boring. Quince, on the other hand, is a real treasure! It makes excellent jams, but when baked, it loses its astringency, intensifies in aroma, and retains all its beneficial properties.
- Quince
- Honey
- Nuts
Thoroughly wash the quince and carefully remove the core. Fill the hollow with honey and top it with a few nuts and make a shallow cut around the "equator"—this helps the quince bake evenly without splitting.
Then, bake for about 40–60 minutes (depending on size). Quince is much denser than apples, so it needs more time.
Serve with an extra drizzle of honey.
Enjoy:)
