Pancakes are more than just a dish—they’re a true taste of childhood, filled with warmth and nostalgia.

Thicker than crepes and made from a denser batter, they were once prepared with yeast or egg whites. Today, the recipes have evolved, but pancakes remain one of the most beloved breakfasts, delighting with their flavor and simplicity.

Ingredients
  • 200 ml of kefir
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • A pinch of salt
  • 2 eggs
  • A little olive oil
  • Flour (add last)
  • 1/3 teaspoon soda (add if desired, for a more fluffy effect)

Mix all ingredients with a mixer or in a blender. We will fry the pancakes in a well-heated frying pan, which was previously greased with olive oil or butter. Using tablespoons, spread the dough into the pan and wait until small bubbles appear on the surface of the pancakes, and the edges become golden. This is a sign that it is time to turn over and the dish is almost ready.

You can serve pancakes with honey, condensed milk, jam - there are no limits! And yet, as an option, you can add pieces of apples or berries to the dough. It will turn out delicious, tender and fluffy!
