Vedic cooking doesn’t always mean a pile of spices. But it always means proper food combinations that your body will accept and digest with ease. No toxic pairings - only spices that help digestion.
We prepared a nourishing morning porridge. You can use oat, rye, or a mix of grains. Many organic shops sell lovely blends with flaxseeds and more.
- 200 g of cereals (oatmeal, rye or a mixture of cereals)
- 200 ml of water
- a little sugar, to your taste
- 400 ml of milk
- 1 pear
- 1 small banana
- walnuts (in the original 24, but this is most likely 24 halves)
- ground cinnamon

First, prepare masala tea. I already wrote about him separately (recipe in the same way as a mixture of spices). In a ceramic pot we put spices, add water and milk. Bring to a boil, boil a little and let it brew.

Now porridge. We take a mixture of cereals, heat a dry frying pan well and fry the cereal a little.

Pour everything into a saucepan. Better in ceramic, in it the taste is much deeper. If there is none, then choose a pan with a thick bottom..

Add water, milk and wait until it starts to boil.

Put the sliced banana and pear, add the nuts and cinnamon. Cook for 5-7 minutes on minimum heat. Close the lid and leave to infuse for 8-10 minutes.

Pour masala tea into cups.

We spread the porridge in bowls. Remember: the volume of your stomach is the volume of two folded palms.
