This is a real dish from childhood! And probably the only breakfast I really loved.
- 250 g of cottage cheese
- 1 egg
- 4 tablespoons flour
- 4 tablespoons semolina
- 2-4 tablespoons of sugar (sweetness to your taste)
- 40-50 g of butter
Mix the flour and semolina with softened butter. If you don’t have semolina, simply replace it with 100 g (half a cup) of flour. Add the cottage cheese, egg, and sugar, then mix well. Lightly flour your work surface, place the dough on it, shape it into a loaf, and cut it into strips or form it into dumplings—whichever you prefer. Boil in hot water without salt for just a few minutes.
